Os multimédia no ensino da geodinâmica Portuguesa Projecto PETRA: um recurso em construção

Abstract

Petra project: an ongoing tool. ln this work we aim to present the first results obtained by a team or researchers interested in the production of didactic resources for the teaching ofEarth Science subjects ofthe Portuguese continental territory. PETRA is the name ofthis project. Multimedia tools were used to introduce scientific synthesis already produced by several authors, to allow for the conception of dynamic phenomena related to the orogenic stages, which have been successively affecting our territory. For this purpose, diagrams representing the different models of Cadomian and Variscan collisions will be presented, with special emphasis to the genesis ofthe several types ofgranite of the Central Iberian Zone, iIIustrating their sequence in a dynamic way. Ali this models are based on the main concepts ofthe theory ofPlate Tectonics, nowadays accepted to explain the geological observations which have been taking place all over the Planet.
